Seeing the World in a
Different Hue
Mitsubishi’s lineup of digital televisions has
definitely reached a highpoint with one of their newest units, the
Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV. It features everything you could ever
ask for in an HDTV and then some. It’s a marvelous combination of
looks and technical excellence.
The Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV boasts of a 6-Color light engine
which processes pictures with six different colors instead of the
usual three used in traditional models. It utilizes a new HDTV
standard called the x.v.Color which results in brighter and more
vivid images that breathe with so much life, you could almost touch
it. Watching exciting movies on this unit is a visceral experience
that you literally have to see to believe.
With a beautiful 65’’ inch screen running at a resolution of 1920 x
1080, the movies you watch and the games that you play will seem
like they’re ready to jump out of the screen and straight into your
living room. The unit also features Color 4D Video Noise Reduction,
PerfectColor and PerfectTint which allow for easier color setting
adjustments and increased picture clarity.
With the Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV, connecting
your DVD player, favorite game console or even your next-generation
Blu-ray or HD-DVD player is a breeze. At the rear of the unit, there
are three HDMI 1.3 inputs and two component inputs. At the front
end, there is an additional HDMI 1.3 input and a Front Component
Video input. Basically what this means is that, you’ll be able to
connect your players using the best way possible with the least
amount of interference. The unit even has a USB input to let you
view high-res pictures on the TV. Now that’s total versatility. It’s
annoying and frustrating when a manufacturer doesn’t include enough
inputs--thankfully though, this definitely isn’t the case with the
Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV.
Now with all the inputs the Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV offers, it
might seem a bit overwhelming. Fortunately, the unit also features
Easy Connect and NetCommand which make it easier to manage all your
AV components with a few button presses on the remote control. With
these features it’s very easy to turn on your TV and DVD player,
locate the DVD input, switch to that input, and start watching your
favorite movies.
With image quality being the focal point of HDTVs, built-in speakers
can sometimes be taken for granted by the manufacturers. It’s safe
to say the Mitsubishi doesn’t take the easy way out however as the
Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV still produces crisp, clear sound
that’s pleasing to the ears.
Best of all, the Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV is a handsome piece of
equipment. It’s very sleek and very minimalist in design. The unit
is also quite thin and relatively easy to fit in almost any room.
Finally, the smooth black finish of its exterior makes it worthy of
being a living room’s center of attraction.
If what you need is an HDTV
with both style and substance, then you really can’t go wrong with
the Mitsubishi WD-65734 DLP HDTV.
